CFCR 90.5 – FM-Phasis in Full Effect!

From September 20th to October 3rd, CFCR Community Radio will be cranking up their annual fundraising drive, FM-Phasis. 2014 marks CFCR’s 23rd year broadcasting at 90.5 FM on Saskatoon dials. And so, they bring you “Loud & Clear”, a two-week campaign that aims to raise $70,000 for Saskatoon’s one and only community radio station. There is a ton of great programming on the station for music lovers of all types, not to mention great ethnic and spoken word shows (One of our editors, Craig Silliphant, has recently been guest hosting on CFCR’s movie talk show, Reel to Reel at 6:30 PM on Fridays). CFCR provides the kind of content and thought that goes hand-in-hand with The Feedback Society, so we’re stoked to give them a shout out.

The funds raised during FM-Phasis go towards improving your listening experience, from upgrades to equipment to ever-expanding and improving our online presence (listen online at cfcr.ca). And there are tons of prizes for the drive, as well as FM-Phasis Fest, a six-show music festival spread across the funding drive. You can donate online, in person, or pledge by calling 242-5002.
